IB, DP, MYP, PYP, SL, HL, TOK, CAS, EE...these are all some of the strange terms you may have heard teachers or students involved in the the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme. This may sound like they are speaking a different language, but trust me, there is method in this apparent madness. This site is aimed at students, teachers, and parents who are looking for more information about the IB Diploma Programme but have been afraid to ask.
My name is Glen Russell, and while I am originally from Small Town, Ontario, I have spent the past seven years teaching at IB Schools in China. I am a firm believer in the power of the Diploma Programme, but I am aware of some of the drawbacks. I hope you find this resource to be helpful on the first steps of your IB Journey.
